From the beginning.

In 2001, we were living in downtown Boston when two planes crashed into New York City’s twin towers.  New York was Brian’s hometown, and we spent hours not knowing if his friends and family were alive.  He also worked next to the John Hancock building in downtown Boston.

The following weeks and months were terrifying at best. Each moment away from Brian, I would worry I would never see him again. One night, I remember crying to him about all of my worries. He simply pulled the sheet over our heads, looked me in the eyes, and said, “This is all that matters.”

That motto lived on in our family over the next decades.  When COVID struck the world, we decided to start making our dreams a reality.  We started buying vacation homes and turning them into places where families could GET AWAY and have the gift of doing NOTHING TOGETHER.
